We are excited to announce that we’re introducing Subcoin.
Subcoin empowers creators and service providers to manage and process their premium content using the ethereum blockchain ecosystem. Creators get charged a whole host of fees from “middlemen” who claim to offer some form of financial service to them. People or institutions who had no part to play in their work or their creativity in any way. We think that this is wrong and we want to fix that.
This is why we created Subcoin. Subcoin will allow subscription payments to be received directly by creators on a decentralized blockchain. It has been designed to create trust and transparency among rightful parties involved.
With subcoin creators who range from writers, videomakers, photographers to even NFT creators can accept payment across the world. This means that they don’t have to go through banks for payments or transfers and will only need to authorize payment with the private key of the wallet address.
Subcoin has been designed to be faster and cheaper when transferring money.
This is because on subcoin no third party authorizations are required and processing fees have been designed to be extremely cheap.
How does it work?
Creators create or upload their service to the subcoin platform. Through our API, this goes through a verification process to prevent fraud or illegal activities on the Service. Creators connect their wallet address to receive the payment for their service provided to their customers which goes through the ethereum blockchain to create trust and transparency. Creators can monitor their payments on the service API.
Users can access a creator’s content via an iOS app which they would need to create an account to select their favourite creator content and create a subscription plan.
This notifies them when to make payment for their subscription plan. Users then create a wallet on our highly secure mobile app, connect this wallet address to Metamask and can transfer funds to make payment.
What motivated us to create Subcoin?
We’re creators ourselves. We love to build and tinker with stuff. We have also researched a lot in the blockchain and cryptocurrency space and felt that it would be the perfect platform to solve some of the problems we felt ourselves. We never really understood why all these websites took huge chunks of our works and called them “commission fees”. To us it was unfair.
